Only Tera Classic Mobile is barely alive in Korea. What I think they are going to do is just asset flip the Tera intellectual property for blockchain NFT gaming because they literally asset flipped the franchise with so many different (and now dead) versions of Tera mobile Tera Origin, Tera Endless War, Tera M, Tera Frontier (don't think it ever launched).

And as one commenter outlined in detail, the revenues from console is tiny compared to PC and especially mobile where a good chunk of it is PUBG in each of those categories. Can't see them throwing money into an outdated Unreal Engine 3 pipeline. Doesn't make any logical sense (but then again, this is Krafton we are talking about). When that avenue is exhausted, are they going to actually spend money to design new things from scratch for a tiny marginalized console version of the game? This is the same subsidiary that is in the proverbial hole with losing money and going under per that audit. So it is no surprise they can continue to develop the console version for a bit until they exhaust that. Example is the whole player council thing that Enmasse had where near the end, at least one of them was moderating the entire forum (because the community management team was literally disbanded months earlier) as a volunteer.Ĭonsole is using already produced assets from the PC development with deviation in some systems from the PC version.
Bluehole is one of those special cases though where they've taken advantage of people for what amounts to free work.

Not even regular employees who are just community managers for a game, are given the full 411 on stuff anyway (nor are they anywhere close to being part of the decision making process). Hard to take that as official when their actual official channels (official web site or even Twitter, makes no mention) doesn't have an actual company statement. Basically some unnamed/untitled Bluehole employee on the console team spoke to him. That statement is coming from a YouTuber that for a period of time,"worked" (contract basis?) with Bluehole for the Tera console team (he talks about that in a previous video).
